The
Triangular Hour by Adam Maxwell. This is a great and hard
to find PBO that is already long out of print. It is a 1st
printing / 1st edition dated 2003 with the copyright page
showing a complete number line running from 10 - 1.
The
book is obviously used but in good condition with no
page tears, writing or stickers. It does
have some creases on the cover and a small amount of
edge wear, but overall very nice.
This
book is extremely scarce in any condition.
As
you may know the book was made available via the internet
in small quantities and published by the author with print
on demand. As a result the book has no ISBN number so
this is one that will NEVER be making another appearance.
Rumour has it that the print run was limited to under 200!
Aside
from this book's great collector value it also offers a brilliant,
funny and often dark read with it's collection of fifteen short
stories that explore the darkly surreal side of the human experience,
including that of a private detective addicted the hallucinagenic
frogs, a man who believe he is a Transformer and spends his
days trying to mate with cars, a woman who becomes convinced
the meaning of life is hidden on the label of a bottle of cheap
sherry and her quest to uncover it and the sting in the tail
that is 'The Triangular hour' itself - you'll never look at
a watch the same way again.
