My beloved Fiction Lounge is nominated in the North East Digital Awards. The site features in the Best Podcasting Campaign category and I need your assistance to help me win!
You can visit the site by clicking here and I will be featuring the voting graphic on the left of every page until the closing date. I know that more and more people subscribe to the podcast every month so it would be a real honour to win an award for all my hard work...
So subscribe to the podcast, have a look at the Awards website and don't forget to vote for me. It only takes 10 seconds to vote so what are you waiting for - vote now. Then get your friends to vote. Then their friends.
Cheers folks

That's right, folks. As promised the short short story 'Like They Used to do in the Movies' has been published on the fine fiction website monkeybicycle.net.
I should need say no more than it is a love story and it has smoking meerkats in it - you'll like it I have no doubt.

Just added a new short story for your delectation. It's called 'Perfect Gluttony' and is a story of morticians, obesity, murder and eating until you burst. Perhaps not one to read whilst you are having lunch.
This flash fiction appeared in the last issue of Skive Magazine along with many other fine short stories by other authors and is well worth checking out here.
But you should read the story first...

Ladies and Gentlemen I trust you had a wonderful holiday season, happy Christmas, merry New Year or whatever passes for December in your neck of the woods and as a post-new year present I have added a new podcast.
It is, of course 'The Night Before The Christmas Before I Was Married' which will either make you think Thank God my Christmas wasn't as bad as that or alternatively Thank God someone out there had as bad a Christmas as I did.
Subscribe.
Enjoy.
Welcome to 2008.

Most people I think are heading full tilt towards Christmas holiday time with thoughts turning to goodwill to all men and... err... presents. It has become something of a semi-tradition for me to post a short Christmas story at this corresponding time of year and this year is to be no exception so without further ado I present:
The Night Before The Christmas Before I Was Married
As anyone worth their salt knows, becoming accidentally engaged to your ex can be problematic. Especially if your fiancee is coming home for Christmas and this is a tale of such an event.
Warning - contains extreme Santa-punching.
Merry Christmas!
