See, I told you we were back on schedule! This month's story is an exploration of what would happen if your car broke down.
You would hope some friendly policeman would stop and help you out wouldn't you?
Well?
Wouldn't you?

Two updates in one day? Can it really be?
Yes it really can - I have gone back a few months and chosen 'Teeth Like a Burnt Fence' and recorded it for your listening pleasure and is now available at the one and only award winning short story podcast.*
*Other short story podcasts may be available but they won't be as good.

Ladies and Gentlemen, normal service is resumed... it has been a bit of a turbulent time for me since the last update to the website and due to the global financial apocalypse I was made redundant from my real life job. Kind of saps the creatively somewhat it has to be said.
However, not one to allow a little thing like unemployment get in the way I have got back on track and delivered April's short story - 'Phonebooks'. People cope with rejection in different ways - for some it's the booze and for others it's counting phonebooks. Have a look and have a read - hope you like it.
Of course since leaving gainful employment I haven't just been sitting on my backside in my pyjamas (although I have been doing that some of the time). I have decided to set up my very own web design company in Northumberland and it is called Superhighwaymen.
Now if you or anyone you know wants a site that looks beautiful and works brilliantly then send them along or get them to drop me an email. We've already got our first few clients and I don't care whether you are in Northumberland, North America or the North Pole - do you see how good this website looks. Wouldn't you love one of your very own?
Oh and don't forget to subscribe to the Podcast cos that will be along pretty soon too.

16th January, 2009
Keeping up the momentum in the middle of January isn't the easiest thing in the world but hopefully this story will raise your spirits and put a smile on your face.
It's called 'The Greatest Invention' and it is the story of what happens when the idea for the world's greatest invention is lost and how mankind's vengeance must be thoroughly wreaked.

At last the December podcast arrives late for the New Year's party. No excuses really just have to say I've had a wonderful but hectic Christmas and New Year and this is the first chance I had to get the thing recorded and posted. Between spending brilliant time with the family and having multiple colds and man-flu it just isn't as easy as you would think to deliver.
The good news is that this will remind you of your twelfth night commitment to remove all your decoration whilst simultaneously fulfilling the secondary purpose of reminding you of the ace Xmas you just had.
Woohoo!
And we'll be back to business as usual for the late-January podcast of course.
Happy New Year y'all :)
